I had asked Kayla to email me and the 4animals list with more information after I heard from her she was planning a protest but no more details as to the day or time.... but I heard nothing. It's hard to get a turn-out when people don't know about it and plan for it.

Also, I don't know about what other people have, but Victoria from OAA already has a bunch of KFC/Peta signs that can be used, as well as a chicken costume that I believe can be rented (to offset the original cost to her of purchasing it.)

April 22 is the same day as the EcoFair... btw. I think there will be some conflict there as some of us are going to the EcoFair, some of us are setting up a table there.

  Hi Michele,

  I had originally planned to hold two back to back protests at the KFC in the Glebe on May 13th and 14th, but then Deedra also told me about Kayla's protest on the 22nd. I thought about concentrating on Kayla's for now, and pushing mine back to a later date. I'm all for organizing another one, but I think we should be sure not to divide the forces too much, and make sure we get Kayla all the support we can get for her protest. 

  In any case, I think we should get together with some like minded people very soon and decide what we can do to make the demonstrations effective and bring about a large turnout. Perhaps Wednesday evening?
