  The Council of Canadians presentsGeorge Orwells' "Animal Farm" cartoon version plus topic of discussion:
  " Are some animals becoming even more equal than others?" Call 820-0701 or 749-3379 for more information.

  KFC protest 

  * This Saturday, May 27th 
  * From 12pm to 2pm
  * At the Glebe KFC, 690 Bank Street 

  The 'Great Glebe Garage Sale' will be on during this time so it should be a good opportunity to raise awareness. This protest is scheduled for two hours since some people have expressed an interest in  staying out longer since we'll already be there and could get more accomplished. However if you can only stay one hour that's fine too! All materials will be provided and the 'CHICKEN' should be walking
  about with crutches.

  Needed

  * Someone who knows HTML to donate a bit of time to help complete the OAA website.
  * Media Spokesperson, occasional or ongoing, as our previous (fantastic) spokesperson is moving overseas! Please let me know if you can help.

  Meeting Cancelled

  Due to insuffucient interest in planning a summer event to raise awareness about factory farming there will not be an upcoming meeting unless I hear back from more people!! Please let me know if you want to help plan a summer demo to help animals sufferring and being tortured in factory farms and related industries...

  I also thought that people should be aware that....although the events were on weekdays, PETA was only able to find one volunteer to help them with a demo last week. I am aware of how busy 
  everyone is but for a City this size including many students on various AR lists who were contacted,  I found that to be quite sad for animals. I just wanted to make it known that the notion of  'someone else will do it" rarely applies in animal rights!
