I'm going to print out copies of information about KFC clearcutting
Amazonian rainforest to grow feed for chickens. KFC are cruel to their
chickens, they make people overweight with their saturated-fat-intensive
food, and they deforest the Amazonian rainforest, leading to the loss of
rick rainforest biodiversity and the displacement of local communities who
depend on the forest for their livelihoods.

I attended a lecture last night by David Suzuki, who described how he worked
with native people fro the Brazilian rainforest, who are fighting valiantly,
generation after generation, to get permanent protection for their land. The
North American native people see that the Brazilian indigenous people are
fighting the same fight their ancestors did hundreds of years ago, and they
give generously (many native people are poor) and travel to Brazil to
support their demonstrations against the Brazilian government.

I hope you don't mind my bringing information about rainforest
deforestation. It's another way to get people to stop buying KFC.

That is probably a good idea about congregating somewhere else -
Diana is going to drop me off with all the supplies, including the
crutches and DVD player, so I will be waiting somewhere until she
finds a place to park, and it does have the potential to be uncomfortable :)

It would have to be somewhere close enough though that we didn't have
to lug things too far.  Let me know a good place (I am just not very
familiar enough with the area to think of a spot, but if you give me
an address, I can get there no problem).

Looks like we're going to get some great weather for the demo!

Kyle, that's fantastic about all the posters you put up!!  I would
certainly hope that we get a good response from that!
