<div>Hello - Interesting editorial in the Ottawa Citizen today (Saturday) concerning a report from the Food and Agricultural Organization, an arm of the U.N., entitled Livestock's Long Shadow, <em>examining the many ways in which milk and meat - especially beef, hurt the planet
</em>. Excellent editorial (except that this report is still trying to figure out how the effect of "livestock production" can be minimized to enable people to continue to dine on the dead. Other than that, the report gives us lots of really useful information.
