[Veg-ns] Email privacy issues

(Sorry for the duplicates, this message is being sent to all three mailing lists for those who may only be subscribed to one or another... my hosting is working on a bug on vegmisc, so it might not get through this time)

One member has expressed concern over privacy, and the ability of list members to view other member's email addresses in a directory via "Visit Subscribers List". Follow these instructions if you wish to keep your email private from other members. However, remember that when you send an e-mail to the list, they will see your email address.

You will have to do this for all three lists if you are subscribed to all three lists. If you have any questions after you have read over the pages thoroughly, please email me at v at vaalea.com
Go to http://lists.ottawaveg.com/mailman/listinfo and click on a/the mailing list you are subscribed to.
Go to "To unsubscribe from [list], get a password reminder, or change your subscription options enter your subscription email address: "
put in your email, etc.
On the next page, there is an option down the page that says:
"Conceal yourself from subscriber list? When someone views the list membership, your email address is normally shown (in an obscured fashion to thwart spam harvesters). If you do not want your email address to show up on this membership roster at all, select Yes for this option. " 
Then go to the bottom and Click on "submit my changes". Before doing so, you may want to read over all subscription options and change them according to what suits you. Repeat for all mailing lists.
