Also, this last meetup we had some parents and I mentioned some websites.... here they are:
http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com/ Winner of the 2006 Bloggie award for "Best food Weblog", in one persons words: "Vegan Lunchbox was started last September by Jennifer McMann, a vegan stay-at-home mom of a child named Schmoo (seriously) in Kenniwick, Washington. It is a day-by-day chronicle of the vegan lunches that she makes for her Schmoo, often with Schmoo's feedback. Although there are not many recipes of her own, she does link to recipes and vegan products for those interested... " Excellent for parents seeking inspiration.
http://vegsource.com/parent/ Unfortunately they do not archive their old posts.... they just delete them... which to me is a HUGE loss of resources.... and sometimes the amount of advertising bothers me, but nevertheless this is one of the best resources on the net for veg parenting, and veg*nism in general. Be sure to visit their parenting message board where you can ask ANY questions. http://www.vegsource.com/talk/parenting/
Livejournals that unfortunately are not used (but could be):
http://community.livejournal.com/vegan_parents/
http://community.livejournal.com/pregnantveggies/
Here are a few more from googling, but I'm sure you can find a lot more...
http://www.vegetarianbaby.com/
http://www.vegfamily.com/
http://www.veganfamily.co.uk
http://www.vrg.org/nutshell/kids.htm
http://www.babycentre.co.uk/baby/startingsolids/vegetarianbaby/?_requestid=982728
etc. etc.

Ottawa Public library has books like
Raising vegetarian children : a guide to good health and family harmony / Joanne Stepaniak and Vesanto Melina.
New vegetarian baby : an entirely new, updated edition of the classic guide to raising your baby on the healthiest possible diet / Sharon K. Yntema and Christine H. Beard.
Rose Elliot's mother, baby & toddler book / Rose Elliot.
Kids can cook : vegetarian recipes : how you can be sure your child's vegetarian diet is nutritious / by Dorothy R. Bates ; foreword by Suzanne Havala.

The vegetarian mother's cookbook : whole foods to nourish pregnant and breastfeeding women-- and their families / by Cathe Olson.
Plus more.... and you can always try requesting OPL to get books, or buying them yourself, such as http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0972510206/103-1694161-6516611?v=glance&n=283155 for example, which actually I think I saw recommended on the vegsource website... or not, I can't remember.

I know there are a number of parents in the group now, and please let me know if at any time you would be interested in a (third) monthly meetup for veg*n parents to discuss veg*n parenting issues, and perhaps let the kids have a bit of a meetup themselves.
