[VegChat] VRTUCAR and OttawaRideMatch

So I just signed up with VRTUCAR recently because I was finally old enough. =0P and then shortly after they LOWERED their minimum age (well, their insurance provider did). Now once you are 23 you can sign up!

The other thing is..... IS there anyone in the downtown area who would be interested in doing a Superstore trip every couple weeks and split some costs on transportation? I like to stock up on some of the heavier items so I don't have to carry them long distances on foot. Anyway, now that I "have a car" I'm planning on these kinds of trips, and it just makes sense to further reduce cost AND pollution by finding at least one other person interested in going too...Let me know and we shall see. (PLUS I would like it best getting groceries with a veg*n... right?)



Has anyone seen http://OttawaRideMatch.com? I saw it advertised on the back of a bus, and it looks like a good service.... I thought I should mention it for anyone who might have missed the advert but would be interested. It is a carpooling service. Ok, I took a look at it, and it doesn't seem like there are enough people signed up for it to be REALLY useful... but they are advertising, and these things take a while to catch on.. so if you are interested add yourself and then.... wait.
