Was happy to see "Dateline" on NBC last night (and during prime time) to present a feature on global warming.  It showed polar bears surrounded by melting ice, and set out the amount of average emissions the "typical" American family generates each day.  It suggested that each viewer can do their part by changing light bulbs, etc. and by recommending the use of hybrid vehicles.   Great to see Tom Brokaw setting out the facts re vans and SUV's and suggesting that "we can all do our bit" by driving a hybrid.
