[VegChat] Raw Potluck featuring "Eating" movie

Hi Everyone,

Please join us for another mouth-watering raw vegan potluck next Friday 
Dec 1.  We will be showing the movie "Eating" immediately
following the potluck (see http://www.ravediet.com/).

Date: Friday Dec 1
Time: 6:00pm - 10:00pm **note the earlier start time
(movie will begin at 8pm)
Location: St. Giles Church, 174 First Ave. NORTH side of First Ave, just 
east of Bank St).
Non-Profit Cost: $5 (to cover venue rental & expenses)

** Please *reply to this message* to register & *Let us know what dish 
you plan to bring to the potluck*.  We'll be awarding prizes for best 
dessert & best main dish of the evening, as voted by everyone in attendance.

** We're seeking 2-3 volunteers to spend 15-20 minutes at the end of the 
evening for cleanup.  Please let us know if you can help.

Finally, please read the guidelines and recipe links listed below - 
helpful reminders to ensure the potlucks are enjoyable for everyone.

** Potluck Guidelines:
---------------------------------

* Each adult should bring a raw food dish of 8-10 adult portions
* Please be conservative with your portions (there's usually plenty of 
food for seconds!)
* Dishes should be 100% raw vegan:
   o Fresh fruit & veggies, soaked/sprouted nuts, seeds, legumes, grains
   o NO animal products (no meat, dairy, fish, eggs, or honey)
   o NO cooking at all (nothing steamed, baked, fried, canned, etc)
   o Dehydrated food below 115 degrees Fahrenheit is acceptable
   o NO tofu or soy-derived products (cooked & highly processed)
   o NO commercial salad dressings (highly processed & cooked)
* Please list all ingredients (with your name) to help those with allergies
* All fruits & vegetables should be properly washed & ready to be 
enjoyed as is. Fruit should be ripe & ready to eat
