I saw this company listed on the PETA proggy awards, and noticed it was Canadian.
Since it's located in BC I don't know if it's made its way over here yet... anyone see anything??
Oh yes.... I got lots of little packaged of "jerky" for christmas, to "taste test"... and found we are not at all fond of dry stuff like that. HOWEVER, we also had a package of Primal Strips "jerky" which are NOT all dried out... they taste more like something that should be heated, and I really really liked them - probably the texture would weird out some of you. YUM.. I thought I was going to make notes of the different kinds of jerky, but I really am not thrilled with the other ones and don't see the point. Perhaps a TRUE jerky lover could give better reviews.
>From Vegan Essentials I also picked up the vegan marshmallows (YUM!), and cheddar chreese (which is suddenly hard to find in Ottawa- they have gluten free which is nasty IMO).
If you are a big fan of So Good like I am.... Thomas pointed out that you can buy jars of the stirfry sauces from So Good to recreate the dishes at home. You can also buy deep fried tofu from So Good, which is nice to know because I just found out that Grace Int'l (on Bank Street) is no longer selling deep fried tofu. You have to call well in advance with your order, however. I'm planning on taking advantage of this. Mr. So said that he gets orders from BC even for jars of sauce. =0D
